PROPOSED STRIKE MONDAY 13TH OCTOBER CALLED OFF 9th October 2008 As a result of talks held between Northern Rail and train drivers union ASLEF today over working conditions, the proposed strike on Monday 13th October has been called off. Therefore a normal service will be in operation on Monday.
