NEW CYCLE STANDS FOR WILMSLOW AND ALDERLEY EDGE
8th September 2008

Wilmslow and Alderley Edge stations are now benefiting from new cycle parking facilities. A total of 10 cycle stands are available at Wilmslow, and 5 at Alderley Edge.

The cycle stands, which have been funded by the Crewe-Manchester Community Rail Partnership, were installed by Macclesfield Borough Council.

Robert Morton, Community Rail Officer for the Rail Partnership commented "The new cycle parking facilities will provide passengers with another option for travelling to their local station.  The Rail Partnership is keen to do all it can to encourage more cycling to stations along the route".
